Much of what purports to be Christianity today is focused on a distorted understanding of love. But it’s a tolerant love that doesn’t care for the truth so much as it does making people feel good about themselves and their decisions. The proponents of this type of love won’t tell you of sin and death and hell. They won’t emphasize God’s Holiness. This site exists to cut through the fog and the noise, with the goal of glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ.

The site is organized around several areas of study, including Bible doctrine, Christian living, Baptist history, and contending for the faith. Articles are intended to examine these subjects directly from Scripture while also addressing historical, theological, and practical questions that affect believers and churches. In addition, under Helpful Links, you will find other online resources that will help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Under the heading of Shepherd’s Fold Baptist Church, you will find videos of recent services from my home church of Shepherd’s Fold Baptist Church in Hutchinson, MN, as well as a link to the church’s YouTube page, where you will find recorded sermons and livestreams on Sundays.
