That They Might Understand
This booklet calls believers back to the biblical pattern of gospel preaching: open the Scriptures, give the sense, preach Jesus Christ, and call sinners to respond to God according to truth. It warns against reduced evangelism that seeks hurried professions without sufficient understanding of God, sin, Christ, the cross, resurrection, repentance, faith, confession, and calling upon the Lord.
